At VSK Healthcare, we are committed to equipping aspiring healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their field. Our comprehensive education model blends theoretical and clinical instruction, empowering students to become proficient in critical areas such as teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and critical thinking. Faculty

Sonny San Pedro, RN BSN

Sonny San Pedro is an experienced nurse who worked in tele and step-down unit for 32 years. He graduated BSN in the University of Santo Tomas. He taught international nurses in the clinical setting in several hospitals in the US. He had taught NCLEX in the Philippines and KSA and had traveled in multiple countries to provide information on US RN needs and US healthcare system. He had assisted in the staffing needs of Coast Plaza Doctor Hospital in 2008 and had also assisted the staffing needs of EZ Staffing Inc,. Sunlife Staffing Inc, First Class Nurse Staffing and Westways Staffing Inc. The sources are both local and international nurses coming from different universities and colleges in California and from UK, KSA, UAE, NZ, Australia, South Korea, South Africa and the Philippines. He had also worked in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing. He had received multiple awards during his stay in the industry, He also worked as consultants for different companies assisting them in training their personnel in customer service, recruitment of staff, operations and marketing. He believes in mentoring the younger generation of healthcare givers and cultivating a culture of emphatic passionate competent quality care to patients and shares the vision of Dr. Nga of making a meaningful difference to all the people we touch.

Dr. Visal Nga, Internal Medicine

Dr. Visal Nga is an internal medicine physician practicing in Long Beach, CA and has over 14 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Chemical Engineering – Biomedical Option. He completed his medical education at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Mary Medical Center and afterward, served as faculty as associate clinical professor medicine at St. Mary Medical Center Residency Program (affiliated with David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA from 2012 – 2018. He is affiliated with Memorial Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, and College Hospital in Long Beach. He also volunteers with CHPAA Organization that regularly travels to Cambodia to provide free medical services to its people. He is very passionate about delivering quality service and mentoring medical workers in providing medical care to people and making a profound meaningful difference to all the people we touch.

Dhanisara Chapagain RN,BSN,BEd.,MA,MSN,FNP

Dhanisara Chapagain is a board-certified nurse from Nepal who had a deep romance with the academics. Her deep love for knowledge and personal development leads her to various academic pursuits. She also passed the California NCLEX and became a registered nurse in the USA. She had her BSN, Masters in Sociology and Anthropology and BS Education from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. She had her master's degree in Nurse Informatics and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from West Coast University California, USA. She worked in different reputable hospitals in Nepal and currently working in St Mary Medical Center as a clinical preceptor in her unit. She also worked in Long beach California Hospital and Lakewood Regional Hospital. She had extensive experience in teaching which includes being a professor at Himalayan Nursing College as well as assisting foreign nurses with their preparation in taking the NCLEX .
